Land Cruiser 70
This Land Cruiser offers the best of both worlds: classic Toyota build quality paired with a modern Cummins R2.8 crate diesel that completely changes the driving experience. With roughly 30,000 miles total and only about 2,000 miles since the diesel swap, it’s an ideal fit whether you’re after a collector-grade restomod, a unique classic you can actually drive regularly, or a capable go-anywhere adventure rig. The engine swap was professionally completed in February 2024 by Goode’s Offroad in Rowlett, TX, and it’s been carefully improved with an emphasis on reliability, drivability, and long-term enjoyment. On top of that, the major Cummins warranty updates have already been handled—including an ECM replacement, EGR system replacement, wiring harness replacement, and A/C compressor replacement, bringing real peace of mind since the most common post-swap and break-in issues have been addressed directly by Cummins. Recent service and upgrades were also completed, including an oil change and radiator fan upgrade in August 2024 by Dallas Offroad. Mechanically, it’s well-sorted and comfortable at highway speeds with strong, smooth diesel power delivery, and the transmission engages cleanly in all gears; while the first-gear detent spring may need attention down the road, it does not have any issue staying in gear once engaged. Cosmetically, it presents exceptionally well inside and out, and it’s the kind of standout example that draws attention from enthusiasts and collectors alike.
